About Us

With over 30 years experience in the carpet and flooring industry, KRP Carpets & Vinyl’s was formed by Kevin in 2003, with the slogan ‘Keen, Realistic Prices’ and we began trading from our first home at 28-32 Hilderthorpe Road. Building a reputation for quality, value and professionalism Kevin and his team quickly grew the business to become the leading carpet and vinyl specialist in Bridlington and surrounding areas.

Following Kevin’s heart attack in 2009, his son, Richard, joined the business The Bridlington Town Centre Area Action Plan, which earmarked Hilderthorpe Road for ‘Regeneration’, was adopted by East Riding Council in January 2013. In September 2015, under the threat of a compulsory purchase order, we sadly waved goodbye to our first home (which was demolished in December 2015) and moved into our newly refurbished current home, at 28-29 Prince Street. Our long standing reputation is built on many years of recommendations and has enabled us to maintain our existing customer base following the move, whilst our new premises and location has attracted many new customers.

We are constantly searching the market to provide our customers with the best value products available. We are a ‘working shop’ and always have a great range of carpets and vinyl in stock. Having our carefully selected stock ranges on the premises enables us to ‘buy in bulk’ at reduced prices, and we in turn can pass these savings on to our customers. This allows us to maximise the quality and value of the materials that we can supply. It also means that you can rest assured that your carpets and vinyls will be pre-cut in a clean and dry environment. With a reliable, long standing and experienced teams of self-employed fitters, we strive to lead the way in customer satisfaction.
